School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University is considering applicants for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor in the area of mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering and industrial engineering.

Qualification:
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, have an exceptional potential for world-class research and a commitment to both undergraduate and graduate education. Those applying for Associate Professor should have had at least two-year working experience in related fields. Those applying for Full Professor should have had at least five-year working experience in related fields, with priority for those who have had at least five-year working experience as Associate Professor in a leading university/research institute.

The history of the School of Mechanical Engineering (ME), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) dates back to 1913, when it was first founded as Electric and Mechanics Section of the Shanghai College of Technology.
