The fan is an electrical appliance that every family will use in summer as it can take away the heat. However, the fan is easy to be contaminated with dust, so it needs to be cleaned frequently. However, the disassembly process of the fan in the market is difficult and takes a long time. According to our investigation, the quick release structure is rarely applied to furniture in China, while it is not applied to fans in foreign countries. The quick-release fan is promising in the market.
Therefore, we decided to design a quick-release mechanism for the fan to help users disassemble the fan blades quickly and conveniently.
(1)Design a safe and reliable fan quick release structure to reduce the difficulty and time of fan blade disassembly.
(2)Meet the other needs of users as much as possible while realizing the main functions.
(3)Draw 3D modeling and three views.
(4) Guarantee the safety and stability of the quick release structure through theoretical calculation and simulation,
(5)Estimate the cost of product manufacturing.
We have successfully designed the quick release structure of the fan and ensured its safety and reliability. The user can disassemble the fan blade conveniently and quickly, with simple operation and extremely short time.
All users' requirements are considered and successfully implemented. Through theoretical calculation and simulation, we have verified that all data of the product meet the requirements.The strength of each component can bear the stress when the fan moves, and the amplitude of the fan blade is small enough so there is no influence to the original function of the fan.
The cost of product manufacturing is within an acceptable range, so it can be mass produced.
To sum up, the target function of the product has been well realized and the feasibility has been proved.And it is a promising product at the market.
